April 2008 - Purse Swap for Pregnant Teens
Sandra and Alison had a real hoot organizing this event. They invited ladies from Grande Prairie to bring purses they no longer use and swap with other ladies! Purses were also donated to the teens and donations were taken. Visit their Favebook site for pictures!

EXIT REALTY DISCOVERY - 2006 Habitat BBQ Fundraiser
It was a chilly afternoon when the employees at Grande Prairie’s own EXIT Realty Discovery got together to hold a BBQ fundraiser for the local chapter of Habitat for Humanity. Sandra Easton reported “We raised over $1200 for our local Habitat and people where coming out despite the cold weather!” With burgers for $2, drinks for a loonie, a clown for the kids and even a glass walking demonstration what else could you ask for? Thanks to all local businesses who supplied equipment for cooking and the tent. The event was a great success!

Raising Donations and Funds for the GP Friendship Center
November 2007 – During the month of December the REALTORS of EXIT REALTY DISCOVERY are joining forces to create community awareness about the needs of the homeless during the upcoming winter. After reading an article in the Daily Herald Tribune about the Friendship Center and what they are trying to do for the local homeless population, Sandra Easton decided to start up a contest within her office to raise supplies and donations for this cause. The goal of this project is to raise $25,000 in funds and donations.

Habitat For Humanity Build
Spetember 2007 - The REALTORS of EXIT REALTY DISCOVERY got together again this year for a day of building with the crew from Habitat for Humanity. The project for this year is a duplex being constructed in Mission Heights and right now is at a stand still due to lack of volunteers. EXIT rallied their troops to lend a hand but more help is needed. If you have a spare afternoon and would like to contribute your time to this very worth while cause please contact Habitat for Humanity.
