Sandra finally sold my parents condo! This was a very difficult property to sell because of the limited range of potential buyers. We knew at the beginning that this was a unique property and we had already tried and fired three other REALTORS. I interviewed the recommended agent from every agency in town before selecting Sandra.
Once on the job, Sandra developed a unique marketing program to advertise the condo. She even took an advertising workshop to learn some new techniques specifically for this property. When we got an offer (and we got a few) Sandra worked closely with me and the potential buyer to remove the conditions and make the deal work.

SELLERS: We had heard nightmares about the Realtors in Grande Prairie, so when it came time to list our house and head back home to BC, we were really nervous. We contacted Sandra about the house, and she was open and forthright on the telephone about the Grande Prairie market, and was willing to pop by the same day to give us some homework and give the house a quick look before coming in for a listing appointment. Sandra instantly put us at ease. She gave us a list of market comparables, and let us set a reasonable price for our house, but was also willing to give us her opinion when we wanted it. Starting out trying to sell our house ourselves was sheer frustration, knowing that people who try to sell their houses themselves don’t have access to the Multiple Listing website and all the other Realtors in the area. That is one of the biggest advertising keys in my eyes.
When I received your phone call that day I was willing to give you a try because of how warm and inviting you were on the phone. When we met you, my thoughts were confirmed. I have dealt with Realtors in the past, some good and some not so good, but I was always comfortable talking to you and calling to ask you questions.
Feedback is important to me and you did just that. The information you gave us, what you knew about the market, and houses for sale and sold was great. I was very impressed with your weekly reports. I must say I didn’t expect so much traffic through the house during the holidays, but we were on a deadline and I am glad you helped us make it happen. I know many Realtors are not willing to work with people like they say they will, but you were true to your word and made it an awesome experience. We wish you many happy years in Real Estate. SELLER Joe & Teresa Derksen: Well, right from the beginning of the talk of selling our house I (Teresa) was not happy let alone excited. I was worried about the selling process let alone dealing with a realtor. When we agreed on a realtor I prepared myself for the worst; someone coming in and pointing out all the ways my house could look better and house much cleaning would need to be done for it to be “presentable”. Joe said it woulnd’t be that bad and insisted that I ralaxed. I couldn’t.
Not until Sandra Came over the first night to go over paper work with us and give us our info, she not only made me feel like my house was well kept but that it was a nice home and had value. I was so relieved that I didn’t have to defend how I felt about my house, after all this was our first house in which we have had both our boys and had put a lot of work into making it a home for them. Sandra complimented many things and only had a few suggestions about organizing and decluttering. (which we needed to do anyways 
After Sandra had come over I had a short list of things to do and a new found excitement in selling our house. So off to work we went.
Sandra organized a Realtors open house for us, where she made dollar sign cookies in the shape of a house, brought hot chocolate and strawberries, and hosted the whole thing because we couldn’t be there. Sandra has a lot of friends in the business and we could tell from all the business cards left behind that many were there. It went very well we thought.
After that it all happened very fast. I mean very fast, within 3 days we had an offer and after we accepted in a total of 10 days it was SOLD! It was great! Short and sweet is how we look at it. We were blessed to have Sandra on our side and so will you be if you so choose.
BUYER I had a great time working with Sandra at EXIT REALTY. Her enthusiasm made searching through places an exciting adventure. I loved that she was always quick to respond with information on places I had inquired about and took the initiative to show me homes that she thought I might be interested in. She made sure to ask me questions to help her (and myself, really) understand what I was looking for and what would make me the happiest. We found the perfect place and she worked hard to get me the price that I was comfortable with. It was such a relief that she worked directly with my mortgage broker so I didn’t have to run around more than was necessary and everything could go through quickly. She also suggested lawyers and home inspectors which was great because as I am a first time home buyer, I hadn’t a clue. I am now the proud owner of my first place and am loving it.
